Mattes Hello! I am a full time Speech/Language Pathologist working
at Palos East School. I have worked
for the district for four years. Prior
to joining Palos 118, I maintained a private practice while raising my
family. I earned my B.A. in Speech
Language Pathology from Saint Xavier University, and my M.A. in Communication
Disorders from Northern Illinois University.
I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American
Speech- Language- Hearing Association, and licensure with the Illinois
Department of Professional Regulation.
I maintain professional membership in the American Speech-Language and
Hearing Association, the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and
the South Cook County Speech- Hearing- Language Association. Outside of Palos East, I enjoy spending time with my
husband John and our seven children.
