My name is Mary Ann Malak. I am a graduate of Benedictine University with a B.S. degree in Physical Education for grades K-12. I started teaching in 1980 at the middle school level. I am currently teaching full time at Palos East Elementary School. I am a graduate of School District 118 and also reside in Palos Park.

As a physical educator, I have the responsibility and the opportunity to have a powerful and positive influence on many students each year. It is important to teach skills and knowledge, as well as an appreciation for daily exercise. I hope to inspire my students to incorporate physical activity in their everyday lives and prepare them to live a more healthy and productive lifestyle.
