About Mrs. George:

Hello! My name is Lindsay George and I am a physical education teacher at Palos East Elementary school. I have been teaching in our district for two years. I graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education (Teaching) for K-12^th grade. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Administration from the University of St. Francis.

I enjoy being active! I like to go bike riding, swimming, rollerblading, as well as going to watch baseball/softball games as often as possible. I also enjoy reading and playing my cello. My husband and I live in Joliet.

Teaching Philosophy:

As a teacher of physical education, I strive to help students learn about movement, motion, and expression through physical activity. As learners, we work to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and honesty in all the activities we perform. By educating students through experiences in a wide variety of activities, it is my hope that students will develop an appreciation for movement and staying active. Pairing these movement experiences with a basic knowledge of healthy food and lifestyle choices, I hope to prepare students to live long, happy, healthy lives.
