District 118 Elementary Physical Education

 

Physical education is the discipline dedicated to the development of the whole child; enhancing the capacity of student’s minds and bodies. The elementary phsycial education program builds the conceptual knowledge and creates an environment of understanding how physical activity contributes to healthy lifestyles. By learning the benefit of physical activities, participating in physical activities, and mastering fundamental movement skills, students will be able to achieve their fullest potential and achieve active and healthy lives that will enable them to reach personal goals and contribute to society.
