     Welcome to 5th grade at Palos East Elementary. I am originally from Springfield, IL.  Illinois State University is where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and Lewis University is where I received my Master’s degree in Reading and Literacy.  I have been a teacher at Palos East since 1994, and am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning together.  I will only have your child for a short time in this trip through life, and I want to make a positive contribution that lasts a lifetime.
