I
am a 1984 graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.S. degree in
elementary education. My degree
emphasis was in the earth sciences. I
received my M.A. degree in curriculum and instruction from National-Louis
University in 1995. I have completed
an additional 34 semester hours of graduate work beyond my M.A. degree, in
elementary education and environmental education. I am also an adjunct faculty member of
National-Louis University’s Center for the Gifted. 2011
- 2012 begins my 28th year of teaching. I have been a teacher at Palos West since
