Happy New Year!

Hello and welcome to my Home Page! This page is intended to provide you with a lot of classroom information, and a little bit about myself.

I am a 1984 graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.S. degree in elementary education. My degree emphasis was in the earth sciences. I received my M.A. degree in curriculum and instruction from National-Louis University in 1995. I have completed an additional 34 semester hours of graduate work beyond my M.A. degree, in elementary education and environmental education. I am also an adjunct faculty member of National-Louis University’s Center for the Gifted.

This is the beginning of my 25^th year teaching. I have been a teacher at Palos West since 1987. I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. In addition to currently teaching fifth grade, I am the school’s Computer Club, Aluminum Recycling, and Earth Day Coordinator.
