Prepping for ISATs! The students have been working so hard as we
approach ISATS. They have really
stepped up to the challenge by writing excellent Extended Reader Responses
that will also translate to good essay writing across all subjects. Please
make sure that you are completing your Study Island assignments each week.
They are due on Thursdays. Make sure you 1. Do the correct lessons
for the week. 2. Do at least 15 test mode
questions per lesson. 3. Receive a 70%or better
before the due date. Career Background This is my tenth year teaching. I started my
career in Indian Prairie School District 204 teaching 3rd grade for 3 years
and 8th grade language arts for 2 years. I then transferred to
Skokie School District 68 where I taught 6th grade language arts
and social studies. This is my second
year at Palos South. Educational Background I graduated from Northern Illinois University in
2001 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a minor in history.
Personal Background I reside in the Southwest Suburbs with my
