Mrs. Holly Nigohosian – Social Worker

About Me:

I received my Bachelor of Social Work for the University of Illinois and my Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Before joining Palos 118 in 2009, I was employed for over 10 years as the social worker at Center School in Orland Park. I worked with students in grades K – 3. In 2007, I turned my focus to my family and took on the toughest job I’ve ever done…motherhood! I have 4 great children ages 7, 5 and 3 year old twins! I’ve enjoyed my years at home with my children and now I’m ready to return to my other passion – helping others.

My Goals:

As the social worker at Palos West, it is my goal to provide social and emotional support with care and compassion to students and their families. I strive to help students and families feel comfortable at school and connected with their community. When a student feels secure, accepted and confident, then he or she is ready to learn.

My Schedule:

The social work position at West is part time. My office hours are as follows:

Tuesday 8:30-3:30

Wednesday 8:30-3:30

Friday 8:30-12:00

I can be reached during my office hours at (708) 761-3806. Or, you can email me anytime at hnigohosian@palos118.org.
