I have been teaching fourth grade at Palos West Elementary School since January of 1991. I previously taught nine years in the Rantoul City Schools, first in fifth grade and then in sixth grade. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education from Greenville College and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University.

I reside in Frankfort with my husband of twenty-five years and my teenage son, Tyler, who attends Lincoln-Way East High School. I find great joy in sharing the love of learning with the students of Palos District 118.
