Jane Baskwill Welcome to the Wonderful World of Reading! I have had the honor of
teaching in District 118 since 1998.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Lewis University and a Masters Degree in Reading along with post graduate
work. My past experience includes teaching first, second and third
grade. Presently I am the Emergent
Learner Teacher. I help kindergarten, first and second grade students develop
their early literacy skills. The focus
of reading instruction includes phonological awareness, phonics, fluency,
vocabulary and comprehension. My goal
