I am truly thrilled to begin another exciting year at Palos
West! This is my fourth year at Palos West as well as my fourth year teaching
fifth grade. My husband and I are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first child
at the end of August. We are thrilled to announce that it’s a boy!
When I
reminisce about the small things in life that are important to me several
things come to mind, including family and my passion for teaching. A few of my
favorite things include my love for animals, Starbuck’s coffee, and pumpkins. I
adore autumn, the changing colors of the leaves, and the crisp cool air during
this wonderful season!
I have several passions in life. In addition
to teaching, scrapbooking, and reading, one of my
passions has always been music. I have
played saxophone for 18 years, and I received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in
Music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. After graduating from U of I, I continued to
work with children through my experiences at Governors State University, where
I received an elementary education degree.
I feel very fortunate to be a part of your and your
child’s life. I hope that we can work together to help your child reach new
heights and achieve many goals!
Due to the upcoming arrival of my
first baby, I will be out on maternity leave until approximately the middle of
November. Mrs. Schumacher, a former Palos 118 teacher, will be taking my place
during my absence. She is an experienced teacher who brings much expertise and
enthusiasm to the classroom. She is sure to make the beginning of the school
year a successful and enjoyable time for both you and your child!
I look forward to seeing all of you
in the fall at parent/teacher conferences!
Sincerely yours,
Mrs. Molinets
