Welcome to
my Webpage! I am very excited to start my third
year at Palos East. I graduated from
Saint Xavier University’s fantastic elementary education program with my
Bachelor’s Degree. Before I had the opportunity
to teach fourth and fifth grade here at East, I taught 4th grade
in Frankfort, Illinois. I am thrilled
to join the awesome 1st grade team at East, and eager to get to
know my students. A little more about me: I am a big White Sox fan! I enjoy scrapbooking, sports (especially
badminton), shopping, logic puzzles, playing the piano, home renovations, and
traveling. My goal for my students is to become
responsible, knowledgeable, and self-motivated learners while building their
self-confidence, communication skills, and creativity. I will provide a learning environment where
students are engaged in learning, and I will make every effort to meet the
needs of my students. I will strive to
make our classroom a place where students feel safe and supported by their
teachers and peers. I’m looking
