This is my first year teaching in Palos School
District 118. After completing my
student teaching at Palos East with Mrs. Karns, I was thrilled when I was
asked to join the Physical Education department! I attended Eastern Illinois University and
received both my B.S. and M.S. in Physical Education with concentrations in
Athletic Training and Exercise Science.
I recently received my teaching certification from Trinity Christian
College right here in Palos Heights! I
look forward to working with your children and showing them all of the
different ways that staying healthy and fit can be fun!!! As a physical education teacher it is my
responsibility to positively impact the lives of students I teach. I believe
that it is my task to help guide my students through life so that they will
become better people. It is my goal that
by creating an environment where all students are treated fairly and are
accepted my students will want to participate and learn! I expect my students
to show up for class with a positive attitude and be prepared for that day’s
activity. Please
