I began my music education singing in the
Oak Lawn Park District choirs at age 6.
Singing in these choirs led to performing in Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond at the Chicago Theatre in
1993. What an AMAZING experience - one
that will be remembered forever! I
then became very involved in all of the choirs and musicals at Harold L.
Richards High School. After graduating,
I attended Moraine Valley Community College and moved on to earn a Bachelors
degree in Vocal Music Education at Trinity Christian College. I began my music teaching experience at
Palos South Middle School in Palos Park, where I have been teaching for eight
years. Currently, I am the general
music teacher for sixth, seventh and eighth grade and also the director of
three choirs. I have been married for four years to my
husband Matt. We have a beautiful
daughter, Brooke Madison. I have a
passion for music that carries over into the music classroom and choirs. My goal as a music educator is to touch
each child’s life through music.
