Miss Ann Marie Fox Welcome
to your student’s 6th grade Language Arts classroom. One of my goals this year is to assist your
child in becoming an independent and responsible student here at Palos South
and beyond. This
subject includes reading, writing, speaking, listening and the study of
literature. Students will be able to expand
on their prior knowledge of English and literature through the many
activities these classes provide.
Reading fluently and writing as an everyday tool, students will be
able to compose many different forms of writing. They will be able to write for many
audiences and different purposes. They must be able to communicate and listen
effectively with others. I
received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in
English from Eastern Illinois University. I received my Masters of Leadership
and Curriculum through Saint Xavier University. This is my sixth year at
Palos South Middle School. I have
taught two years as a seventh grade Language Arts teacher and will be beginning
my fourth year of Language Arts in the sixth grade. Also, this year I
will be teaching one class of Social Studies.
I am looking forward to teaching the exciting curriculum. As well, I
enjoy coaching 7th grade girls cheerleading and boys track. Contact
